Ashok Leyland has developed a broad approach to after market support. In the case of the Indian Army, we have adopted the following strategies:
Training
Ashok Leyland takes on the onus of training the users through various means to suit the customer's requirements. They include
- a)Ashok Leyland's designated training centers
- b)On-site training at the user location
- c)Training through mobile service vans
Model Rooms
Ashok Leyland has helped the Indian Army in establishing model rooms that are equipped with working models of all aggregates to facilitate proper understanding and training for the new recruits. We have helped set up 11 model rooms and two more are in the pipeline.
Field Service Campaigns
Ashok Leyland also initiates direct interaction with the users to get a firsthand feedback on the performance of the vehicles, which in turn helps us work towards enhancing our vehicles to deliver better value and power.
Technical Seminars
We also host seminars on a regular basis to facilitate the exchange of ideas and to build relationships with the users.
